Andrew holds a wealth of experience in commercial litigation, advising clients through all stages of litigation, including professional malpractice, complex financial cases, employment disputes, and mass torts. His extensive experience extends from discovery and motions practice, to trials and appellate work.  Andrew is a committed and fierce advocate for his clients and brings a practical approach to lawyering that focuses on finding creative solutions to complex problems.  Andrew is passionate about learning and comprehending every aspect of his clients’ business or dispute to craft a customized strategy that aligns with each client’s objectives.

Before joining NBP, Andrew honed his skills in the Business and Tort Litigation practice of Jones Day, where he excelled and gained significant “hands-on” experience representing institutional and non-profit clients on dispute resolution, governance, and all stages of litigation.  Prior to entering private practice, Andrew clerked for Chief United States District Judge James C. Dever, III of the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Performance

  • Successfully representing and securing seven and eight figure settlements for individual and institutional clients in professional malpractice litigations against multiple international law firms.
  • Securing a six-figure settlement for boutique life-sciences investment banking firm in a breach of contract dispute.
  • Serving as lead counsel in consumer credit matters, successfully trying two cases to verdict.
  • Successfully representing a manufacturer in an eight-figure breach of contract dispute in Massachusetts Superior Court.
  • Advising a multi-stakeholder technology organization on international arbitration issues.
  • Defending a software developer in cross-border $5,000,000 breach of contract litigation.
  • Representing a Fortune 100 corporation in high-stakes discovery disputes before state and federal courts related to mass tort claims brought by multiple municipalities.
  • Representing a financial institution in multi-billion-dollar breach of fiduciary duty litigation.
  • Securing a seven-figure settlement on behalf of a renewable energy startup in a breach of contract dispute.

 

Credentials

Andrew received his Juris Doctor in 2017 from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Notes Editor of the Duke Law Journal.  He received his bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Brandeis University with High Honors in both Politics and Environmental Studies and was awarded the Doris Brewer Cohen Endowment Award for social science research.
